Hello!
Hi, My name is Daniel Praid and this website is all about me, Self-centred I know but I'm not really like that at all! I enjoy designing websites and started designing my own pages back in the GeoCities days. Soon thereafter I created several websites primarily using html and a small amount of css and javascript. I created one for a science fiction group that I belonged to at the time as well as a few for my team at work (links to important documents and desk extension numbers etc).
I first started using php & mysql back in 2003 when I started creating websites for friends and family. I am mainly self-taught which although means I don't have any webdesign qualifications I feel that I'm better able to come up with solutions to problems from previous experience or by searching the internet and refering to text books. This approach to learning web design has become useful when taking already existing websites and modifying them for the customer or for personal use. I have used different frontend web platforms such as gallery, phpbb, wordpress and other CMS' and have customised them for my own means. I enjoy learning new techniques and webdesign styles and have started using AJAX in a few of my personal projects.
I have my own webspace reseller account which I host my personal websites on as well as websites I have created as part of my freelance work.
